I reached out and got quotes from several contractors to patch my stucco where a old man door was removed. My stucco is circa 1950's so very hard to match. All contractors with the exception of Dave said they had to spray on stucco and that it would still be a visible patch even after paining. Dave was not only the most reasonably priced quote but he was the only one who knew that the stucco had to be hand do e in order to match the vintage ha d done stucco. He and his team did a great job!
