Working with the team at Method was a pleasure. They were all professional, respectful, and responsive to our needs. Our project lead, Curtis, was amazing and very helpful through the process. The project was on time and on budget - often unheard of. Any "surprises" were brought to us with more than one possible solution, making it easy to respond. They were honest as to what would be worth our money and what would not. The end product is something we are more than satisfied with. We would highly recommend them and will work with them again on future projects.

We placed our order with Sunshine Window Fashions in early December. We had looked around and decided we wanted to go with the Hunter Douglas blinds and wanted to also support a local business not a big box store. When Matt came to the house to measure and take our order he was very polite and reassuring that customer service was their #1 priority. He said that we would have our blinds in time for Christmas. After some haggling, they came to install the blinds on December 24th only to discover that some of the components were missing and the blinds could not be installed. There was no communication made to head office and payment for the amount due was automatically taken from our credit card. When this was made aware to the company in January, they assured us that the amount would be refunded - to date (June 7), this has still not happened. After 3 weeks, they had yet to locate the missing pieces. Finally in February we had an appointment made to install our blinds. This was cancelled as the parts were still missing. We got another appointment and the installer (Rob) showed up on time with all the parts. Halfway through the installation though he realized that the shutters for our living room were not measured correctly and were 4inches too short. We were told by Matt that a rush would be put on our order. After 2 weeks we still had no shutters. I called Matt again and he said that the order had been "misplaced" and was going to be rushed. We were again rescheduled for an installation two times that were both cancelled. The most recent one of April 12 was cancelled because they discovered that parts were still missing from the order. The staff at the office on Avenue Road know nothing and are of very little help in providing any customer assistance or service. I have had to do constant monitoring and follow-up to try to get our money refunded and our shutters installed. I am hoping sometime before next December to have them in. I would NOT recommend this company at all. It has been a terrible and frustrating experience. AVOID them at all costs.

When windows were being installed, one of the old windows shattered. A lot of debris was scattered throughout our dining room and exterior of the house that was not cleaned up. After installation, we noticed that an antique painting in our dining room had been damaged by a screw that ripped through the canvass. When we contacted the company their response was that they could not see how this could have happened and it was not their fault. We requested that they come and look at the painting and damage. When they did, they insinuated that we had caused the damage. The company refuses to return emails and phone calls and accept responsibility for the damage. They also refuse to provide a receipt of payment in full despite repeated requests and the fact that our cheque was cashed over 3 weeks ago.

We were referred to Chris by our neighbours and have been truly impressed. Chris is highly professional and very patient as we reviewed a number of small home projects we needed to begin to tackle. We opted for the chimney work first and were very impressed at the quick response to our needs and the excellent follow-up throughout the small project. While other contractors might view a small project as "side-work" and "unimportant", we never felt that way with Chris. We were treated the same as if we were doing a large project. We would highly recommend Chris to anyone. Outstanding service and professionalism and excellent work. Thank you Chris and your team!
