Tim in Bloor West Village

There is a large Maple that is rooted between the house beside us, 2 houses over and the back lane way. The tree is so big it hung over our neighbour's backyard and ours. We don't have the best relationship with our neighbour (as the saying goes, you can't choose your neighbours), but Shady Lane handled the job professionally and worked within our legal rights to provide us with a big improvement in the amount of sunlight we get in our backyard. They were even able to make adjustments to the quote and job on the fly to make sure we got the most amount of light possible without hurting the trees.

We switched to Andrew and his crew early in the spring after we had started the year with a larger landscaping company. We've found his service to be flexible to our needs (we want push mowers and didn't want blowers) and he's been proactive in suggesting ways his company can help improve our property.

We've had Jurgen deliver wood to us a couple of times. I called this afternoon to re-order some firewood. Jurgen asked for my reference number, which I didn't have on hand. He asked me to retrieve it, which wasn't possible (and I didn't think really necessary)...so Jurgen hung up on me. Strangely, he choose his customer management system over repeat business. Needless to say, I'll be buying my wood elsewhere this year.
