requested a quote for a new furnace by Dan from Airco. I had my heart set on a particular brand of furnace but Dan explained the difficulty of finding parts for that brand and convinced me to choose another brand that also benefited from a rebate. Dan so impressed me with his knowledge that I did not contact other companies. Will did an excellent job, veryclean. I am very pleased and fully recommend them!

Thank you so much Catherine. We generally are brand agnostic, as most manufacturers make good product. Just like the car industry, there are brands with a better or worse reputation, and some with unique features. In the end, you need to have a product that works reliably, and if there are any surprises, you can get it fixed quickly without too much trouble. A properly installed system, using good products and materials, should be supported by those who sell them. We appreciate your helpful feedback!

I had two companies come and look at my 70s chimneys: one company wanted to put vinyl siding, Bob from Dunbar wanted to grind mortar, repoint bricks and paint, telling me that the chimneys would look really nice. During the work (a team of very nice you g men headed up by Cory the Irish mason) I also asked for a new fireplace to be rebuilt (it is BEAUTIFUL). Dunbar works woth very professional contracters when neccessary (Mike's company for the excellent framing and drywalling around the new fireplace, and Adam the electrician for the tv outlet above the fireplace.) This was a very good experience; work was done on time; Bob kept a sharp eye on everything. Next year I am having them back for a new garden path.
