I was shopping around for local plumbers to fix a Victorian bathtub drain that had gotten jammed from misuse. We were originally expecting this to cost in the neighbourhood of $200-$300, but the first contractor that came by gave us 3 quotes which ranged from $1900-$2200 (they claimed the entire drain system was 'illegally installed' and needed to be replaced, which we weren't responsible for as the tenants). Then I requested a quote through Homestars and was was contacted by Jason from Budget Rooter. He came by that evening and managed to remove the damaged drain piece within less than 20 minutes, and the final price ended up being about half of what we had originally expected to pay. Absolutely wonderful experience, and I'm extremely grateful he didn't try to gouge me like the previous company. Would *highly* recommend his services for any plumbing issues you may have!

This was my 2nd time using Around Town Moving for my move, and just like the first time, I have absolutely no regrets. Devonte and his guys were on time (early, in fact), worked quickly, handled my items with care, and got the job done in exceptional time (especially given the awful heat we had this summer). His rates were also very reasonable and far better priced compared to any of his competitors I looked at. I definitely recommend his services, and will continue to go to him for any moves I complete in the future!

I had a really horrible experience the last time I moved (in short, I was ripped off by the "company" I hired, and unable to get back the money I paid). I was very leery about hiring another company for this reason, but Devonte completely changed my mind and provided me with the best moving experience I've ever had. He was punctual, professional, completed the job in record time, wrapped all of my items so everything was fully protected in the truck, charged me a completely fair price (less than what I was expecting), and even went so far as to assist me with relocating a few pieces of furniture elsewhere as these wouldn't fit through the doorway of my new place. I was beyond pleased with his work, and will be recommending him to all my friends with any future moves coming up!
