When I hired this company I told them that I am extremely fussy and I was looking forward to establishing a long term relationship with a painting company, as I own several properties. This painting company not only met my expectations, they exceeded them. In order for me to move into the master bedroom in a timely manner, in my newly purchased house they worked on the weekend. They gave me paint recommendations for the finish I wanted and for the on suite bathroom. Once the various projects were completed the areas were left spotless. They also completed one of the projects while I was away on business. I highly recommend this company and will be recommending them to both friends and family.

Unfortunately, Alpha Carpet and Duct Cleaning was not able to complete our HVAC Service and Duct Cleaning due to the location of our Furnace; not their fault! (Our home has a HRV, Heat Pump and Furnace - the furnace is installed on the third floor and not very accessible due to drywall surrounding it). Alpha did make a solid effort. Upon arrival they saw the potential for them having an issue with the fact the furnace was not completely accessible. They did offer to give it a try with our acknowledgement that they may not be 100% successful. Their stated goal right from the start was 100% done right and happiness from us. They got things 70% done and came to the conclusion that they would not hit their 100% standard. We chatted and took their advice to stop work and they generously offered to not bill us anything. They said that the work done was complimentary and left some advice on how to rebuild the wall surrounding the furnace so it could be serviced correctly. Alpha are true pro's. I doubt their competitors would have made the suggestion to stop work and not bill anything. True Class.

Steve and the team at Norton Installations are by far the premier craftsman team for bespoke door installations. The craftsman at Norton Installations completed the install of four custom walnut rift cut doors of our home. These doors were handmade in North Vancouver by North Shore Wood Workers. We knew instantly upon meeting Steve and his team that we would be happy with the results as they took observations of the work to be completed in a very different manner than all others. Their expertise begins with how they hang the doors in a way that nothing is exposed. The Norton Installations team took great care to ensure everything was flush and dead on, we really appreciate their extreme level to detail. Our doors have been working flawlessly for the last two year now, they are solid and feel great and swinging and closing shut. The hardware looks awesome and feels built like a tank. Steve and his team took great care to ensure our custom walnut casings were installed in a manner that nothing is visible. Everything was mounted from behind. The seams were installed so close that you would be hard pressed to see any lines and any fasteners were filled. If you are investing on custom doors; do take that extra step and ensure they are expertly installed. Thanks Norton Installations for compelling us to leave this review!

Chris did a very thorough home inspection on our home in Kits. He spent about 4 hours for a 1100 SqFt detached coach home. He started with an inspection of the exterior which included even the walkway, stairs and porch :-) Inside the home he tested everything; electrical including the panel, heating (he used an infrared thermometer to note start temp and how much temp went up in 15 min intervals). He heated water in the microwave and took the panel covers off everything including the gas fire place. Chris was able to detect a leaky hot water tank and a small leak in the elbow of the HE Boiler pressure release drain. The seller promptly fixed these based on the report and the pics.
