3/10

I replaced my old driveway. West Ontario's quote was fair, not lowest or highest. Joe & ataff both told by me & my wife seperately that there is a city water control valve & pipe (visible) located in one part of driveway. Joe & the workers were very pleasant and nice to deal with up front. Driveway looked good when finished and as I was busy doing some office work I paid the bill. The nesxt day I went to look at the job more closely and found the valve paved over and the grass beside the driveway full of gravel. West Ontario wouldn't return my call, e-mail or come back to repair the problems. I called up the city and had them locate and uncover the valve. That's when I found out that when they dug up old asphalt, they broke control pipe/valve, just stuck ir back in ground and paved over it. It took me several hours to rake and clean up over 200 lbs of gravel and there is still lots more to clean up. There is also one fairly large depression that looks like a small pond after it rains and takes several days to dry uop. My concern is that the water will freeze overnight in the late fall and start to cause cracks in the driveway over time. The rest of the driveway looks good. If they had come back, repared the damage and cleaned up the gravel I would have given them a good rating and recomendation.
