picking up after the cleaning people that they send. I really wish that I had found this review before booking Toronto Maid Service. I compared prices and services and decided to go with this company over others with much more reasonable rates because I understood that they brought their own equipment and would do an intense cleaning, getting at the sorts of hardcore dirt my husband and I can't manage on our own. What an enormous scam! Incredibly deceptive advertising for what they actually provide. I understood that a team of two would be coming to work on my apartment, bringing their own equipment. Instead I get one lady who can't possibly move the furniture, fridge, stove, etc. as promised in the list of services. The final straw, however, came when the cleaning lady turned over a bottle of prescription narcotics from the medicine cabinet and left them laying in the dirt where a child or animal could have eaten them and been poisoned. Now not only am I without painkillers for a broken arm thanks to the thoughtlessness of this woman, but I'm enraged that someone put my household in danger through such careless action. My only consolation is that I booked a one-time service, since I'd never let anyone from this agency near my apartment again. Save your money. Or find a couple of street kids with "will work for food" signs and ask them to clean your house. You'll get a better result and more satisfying customer service!
