10/10

Firstly, my apologies to Amazing Window Fashions. It has been over a year since they installed our blinds, but I did want to make sure the product was durable before submitting a review. We built a 2nd floor onto a bungalow. The master bedroom ceiling sloped to 14'. Our 14' wall was mostly glass. The lower half was glass sliding doors at about 7' wide, and the separate fixed window above was just as wide. I work all shifts, therefore I wanted full darkening blinds (see attached photo). We chose two separate roller blinds (patio doors below and fixed window above) that had fitted tracks along the sides. Both blinds worked independently, and with ease, by pull chain. The blinds rolled into discrete bulkheads, and when fully opened you do not notice them or the tracks. Due to the large custom size of these blinds Amazing Window Fashions were the only people willing to take on the project. There was a product glitch within a few weeks, but Amazing Window Fashions promptly returned and fixed the problem. We have since been opening and closing these roller blinds daily for over a year without any issues. And each time I think to myself, "I should write to HomeStars". Thank you to Amazing Window Fashions. Ed

Our 90 year old fireplace started leaning forward during renovations, so the face needed to be rebuilt. We did a lot of shopping around. Guy Bowman was quick to attend, provide a quote and get the job done fast (quality work, too). And of course his price was very reasonable. It was a pleasure doing business with him. This is my first time commenting on HomeStars, but I felt it was the least I could do for Guy, as a thank you. When it can time to enter a "rating", it had to be a "10" since he was simply perfect (and I am very picky and critical). - Ed
