Don't trust the "Lifetime Warranty". We had our Dark Blue Glass countertops installed in 2012. We now require some minor repairs. The Lifetime Warranty says quote... "If our product should fail due to a manufacturing defect occurring at any time, we promise to repair or replace it COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE...". However, Granite Transformations said they have a $145 +gst charge. I think she called it a courtesy charge. It's not a lot of money, but when you promise something you should follow through. Perhaps we should have went with the real granite. UPDATE: Responding to your message... I find it interesting that you feel the need to correct me on the date. My receipt said Dec 2012. Regardless, it does not detract from the fact that your Lifetime Warranty does not guarantee a "Free of Charge" repair like it says in your document under the "What your Lifetime Warranty Covers - Our Promise" section. I am just making sure potential buyers are aware. People can judge for themselves whether or not your product is durable. As you have pointed out, I have already required repairs in multiple spots, in less than 3 years.

Hello Rock Thanks for your post. when you post its always nice when we state accurate facts. Firstly, we installed your fabulous looking project Jan 2013 (not in 2012), almost 10 months later you received a courtesy service call to repair damage caused by normal wear and tear (pot striking the edge or something similar) again, this was at NO CHARGE. Damage caused by normal wear and tear which is consistent with all natural stone countertops is NEVER covered under warranty however in our best business practices case we try to offer a courtesy repair when we can. Now some two years later you are complaining that we wont come out for another free repair when in fact it is a similar "wear and tear" issue. As nice as it would be we unfortunately are not able to continue to return to your home free of charge for normal wear and tear items. We are as you are aware fully prepared to come out for a nominal fee to rectify the damage that has been caused. As for your warranty, IT IS the best in the industry and the manufacturer stands behind it fully for when the product fails. This is very rare but it has happened. Unlike our product which IS 95% REAL stone, the ordinary slab stone comes with ZERO warranty so your wear and tear damage would not be covered there either. Feel confident the product you purchased is of superior quality by design but simply understand the limitations of the warranty in that it does not include normal wear and tear. Most importantly, thanks for your business, we appreciate it!
Thanks for the update Rock. Again, the warranty does not include wear and tear issues like yours. It clearly states manufacturer defects which yours is not. Have a nice day and thanks again for your business.
