We asked John Oliviera to design and construct 3 built in units throughout our new house. We gave him some minor details that we wanted reflected in each area and left him to design the remainder. He came back with beautiful designs with detailed features that make each unit functional and the focal point of each room. During the installation phase, he took great care in ensuring the dust and mess were kept to a minimum and cleaned up at the end of each day. After searching for months unsuccessfully for a powder room vanity, we then asked John to build a custom vanity. He turned this piece around within a week so that the entire installation of all the pieces could be done at the same time. The cost was very reasonable and the piece, colour and design was exactly how we wanted them to be. Finally, John created a fireplace vanity for us. We left him to design it completely on his own and couldn't be happier with the final product. Overall, we were extremely happy with the work that John and his assistant did on all projects. He was so easy to work with and open to our ideas. He kept us informed of progress along the way and stayed within his budget and expected completion date. We met with Dov in the showroom a few times before our project began and during each visit, he took the time to explain every aspect of the products we chose and the processes involved. We had a very tight time frame before moving into our new home and gave Dov and his team under 4 weeks to remove all the old hardwood and tile, lay new hardwood throughout, re-finish three sets of staircases and railings, replace all baseboards, and paint the main and upper floors. As expected in every renovation, we encountered a few challenges along the way but each time, Dov openly communicated the issues immediately, fairly dealt with additional costs, and continued to keep us informed of the progress and timing of the job. It was a large project but never once did we feel overwhelmed or that Dov and his team weren't on top of each separate component of the project. The team finished exactly when they said they would and within the budget agreed to, allowing us to move in on the planned date without any issues whatsoever. I would recommend Dov and his team without hesitation.
