I have used Bekmar Plumbing on multiple projects over the past few years of being a new home owner, and each experience has been great. Prompt service, professionalism & quality workmanship would be how I define the work done by Bekmar. NO JOB TOO SMALL - from my irrigation (backflow preventer inside the house & tie-in to the outside manifold), garburator installation, hot water recirculation pump, to a sink installation in my garage. I worked with many of Bekmar's plumbers during these small projects; Josh, Matt, Will & Stu - and each one was friendly, courteous and eager to get the job done right. During this time I had either Heather or Jesse estimate the work, and each was quoted accurately - never did I have surprises or unexpected costs. SCHEDULING - After working with multiple trades over the years of home ownership, I enjoyed the fact that scheduling with Bekmar was never an issue. They knew their time commitments & never did I have to re-schedule or wait on them, losing valuable time from my working day. This might not seem like the highest compliment, though compared to many other trades - I found this to be outstanding. Dealing with other trades over the years - you begin to understand when a business underestimates work efforts and oversubscribes their workers - they show up hours late, don’t communicate arrival times, pass on blame to traffic & their employers, etc. Bekmar never fell in this “delinquent” category – Bravo! BASEMENT FINISHING - It was all the successful small jobs to begin with, that lead me to use Bekmar when I finished my basement this year - to do all the groundworks for drain relocation, rough-ins & completion work there. Heather helped me locate the same brands/models of fixtures I had in the rest of the house, and when their regular supplier could not obtain our specific toilet in time - she went the extra mile and found one through another supplier that could meet our timelines; awesome! Prices were also great - either on par with retailers, or cheaper. Josh performed all the groundworks, rough-ins, and installation of fixtures. All of this work passed inspection without issue, and in fact the city inspector seemed to know of Bekmar – and paid a compliment to their work. That’s reassuring, as I’m sure he sees all kinds of issues – and nice to know he recognized Bekmar’s work as “quality”. STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK - On our garburator installation, the pipe stack underneath the kitchen sink developed a hairline crack on new (faulty) parts that Bekmar installed (months following install). The work to repair this and parts were done at no cost - as the service & parts were honored for a year. No fighting, no arguing, no he said she said - parts replaced, service honoured; happy customer.
