Universal supplied the granite for my new house. The quality of the granite was poor, but the service was worse. I contacted them, but apparently there was only one person (Ming) who looked after service, and he was away. Two weeks later I finally got in touch and was told that he would come and see me the following week. Two weeks later when I had heard nothing, I called again, and was told that he was waiting for a sink to arrive for another installation in the area. A phone call to reschedule his visit was too much work for him I guess. When he did finally come, he told me that there was nothing he could do....that the upgraded granite I purchased was prone to these imperfections, so he did nothing but argue with me. Strange, since another company was subsequently hired by my builder and agreed the finish was poor, and did a reasonable job of fixing these imperfections. I strongly recommend you purchase your granite etc. from anyone BUT Universal!!!!! I would strongly recommend you buy your granite etc. from anyone BUT Universal!!!!
