Cristian was an absolute professional! He arrived on time, kept us informed of the work he was going to do and approximately how long it would take. He was great about working around our schedule and meeting the deadline. During install he identified a deficiency from another contractor (a window had been installed slightly crooked) that would impact the appearance of the shower tile. He suggested options and asked for our direction on how to proceed. The outcome of the work - tile, grouting and silicone - is absolutely perfect! It looks and feels fantastic (no ridges or uneven tiles). Impeccable! We'll be calling West Sense for all of our future projects involving tile!

Andrew does excellent work at more than reasonable prices! Today he installed a direct vent hot water tank in my home. Over the last six years he has also installed a high efficiency furnace and done venting and duct work for me at both my home and rental property. In six years I've only had to make ine service call which Andrew addressed the same dayI- it turned out to be a faulty part that was covered under warranty. Andrew fixed it at no cost to me. Andrew is professional, courteous and prompt. He is my go-to for all my HVAC needs and he should be yours too!!

I had a very mixed experience with Wow... They were great at the quote - on time, quick and courteous and provided me with good information about the company and how things get done in a day. When it came time to paint...things turned south. I had booked in for a Monday morning start at 8am. The Sunday afternoon the company owner, Sean, left me a voicemail saying that they couldn't start my job until the following Saturday. I called him back, left a message stating that I couldn't wait that long and after a few hours we actually spoke. He said he would have someone at my house at 8am Tuesday. I was okay with that. Come Tuesday, no one showed up. I called Sean again. He promised me that a crew would be there Wednesday. And that he would find a way to make things right for the issues experienced. The painters showed up Wednesday morning. My wife spoke with them and left them to work. They did the trim the first day and walls the second day, as was told to us during the quote. Excited to see the work, at the end of day two we walked through and assumed that they had only done one coat. Primer was showing through, the walls looked 'patchy' in some places with obvious roller marks. There was wall paint on the white ceilings and baseboards where rollers had touched or paint had dripped. A couple hours later I received an email from the manager asking what we thought. We were not especially happy with the way the rooms looked. The manager, Justin, suggested I settle up the invoice and that they would sent someone out on Monday to touch everything up. I suggested they send someone out to fix the deficiencies and that payment would be in their hand before they left. He had Mario come out the next day to fix the work. Mario agreed that the job was deficient and set out to make it right. When he finished, we walked through and things looked much better. As promised, he left with payment. There were no additional charges for the deficiencies being fixed but I was told that normally this would be an additional charge as it is a third coat of paint. The quote reflects something to this effect in the terms and conditions but paint drips on baseboards and roller marks on ceilings? I believe that Sean (and Justin) made it right by ensuring that Mario came out right away to fix deficiencies and not adding additional charges. The job itself came out okay in the end but the hassle of trying to get the people to the site was difficult and stressful for me. I had to move around other trades I had lined up and worried that my project would not finish on time. Given that it is a rental property it was a large concern. I am unlikely to recommend to friends and family but appreciate that the company did make gestures towards the shortcomings.

Cory, we do apologize for your experience. It is not our standard to leave jobs looking the way it had with roller marks or drips. It is unacceptable to us, and hopefully by providing 3 coats on a one coat job to make it look great made it a little easier to overcome the challenges. Thank you for your business, please accept our apologies.

Great Dane was fantastic!! From the quote to the end of the job, Great Dane arrived on time, were professional, polite and talked to me about what they were planning to do and why so that I understood the reasons things were being done. For example, they suggested smaller pot lights than the 6" ones I originally wanted. They gave me reasons that made sense - there would be a lot of heat generated by the lights and smaller ones would be more than sufficient for the amount of light needed - and that I hadn't considered. It helped me learn and saved me money. Throughout my entire renovation Great Dane was the only contractor who adhered to their scheduled start and end dates. If they were going to be late or not able to make it I was notified, usually in advance, which showed me a great respect for my time. They actively followed up with me to schedule their finish work rather than just waiting on me to call them and trying to slot me into a busy schedule. It made me feel important, both to them as a their customer and to me that I wasn't just another pay cheque but that my job was important to them. They advised me of any issues they ran into (fortunately, very few) and told me in advance of any changes that were required and the approximate costs associated with it. It allowed me to plan for and be aware of changes to the final bill as they happened so there were no surprises at the end. The work was done quickly, it was clean, they cleared away all refuse and made sure every single outlet and switch were working before they left the job site. I have been in touch with a couple questions since and always get a prompt response. Great job guys!!! I couldn't be happier with the work, the way I was treated and the price which was very affordable. I will absolutely recommend you to friends and family and will be calling your company for all my future electrical needs.

After quoting the job, Tom came in during his evenings to get the nob done on time and on budget. All unexpected items were brought to my attention prior to work being done to change or fix them, along with the options and approximate costs for each. I was pleased with Tom's honest and personable approach and will using Great Dane for all my future electrical needs. As a company they clearly take the extra steps to make a customer feel valued and appreciated. Great hon Tom & Great Dane Electrical!!
