We needed pot lights and undercabinet lighting installed in our kitchen, and 2 chandeliers moved. Our Craigslist electrician left us high and dry after booking the job with him. 2 Weeks of waiting for a return phone call or text from him had me scouring HomeStars for a reputable company. I'm very glad I found Robert Redford.
I appreciated the professional manner in which I was treated. The phone was answered by Robert himself, he patiently listened to my woes, was able to give me an estimate immediately based on some careful questioning. There was no pressure to commit - in fact, he encouraged me to talk it over with my husband and get back to him. We gladly accepted his estimate - it was slightly more than the "no-name" brand electricians, but not substantially so, and absolutely reasonable. You get what you pay for.
It was astounding that we were speaking at noon on a Thursday, and he was able to have one of his guys at my house first thing the next morning.
Paul was quite punctual, and very friendly and knowledgeable. We had some challenging wiring, and he was able to negotiate his way around all the obstacles and challenges.
Our constructive feedback to the company would simply be to remind their employees of the need to have positive attitudes. Customers (especially ones like me harrowed after a complete kitchen reno!) look to the professionals to reassure us that they would be able to handle whatever situation arises, and to give us some advice based on their own extensive experience. It's not always wise to tell a customer all the things that could go wrong...
The work quoted was for 8 hours, but it took 10 hours to complete. We still thought that was reasonable. The estimate for the materials was spot-on.
I would recommend Robert Redford Electrical without hesitation.
