4/10

It is quite easy to provide a very positive review on a company when your renovation is fresh and new. Everything looks good and despite some probable difficulties in the process, the end product looks good. We had our kitchen renovated 2 years ago by ReBorn. There were trials and tribulations along the way. It took longer than expected and our hardwood floor had to be refinished due to carelessness of the ReBorn contractors. However, they did cover damages, repaired what we requested and left us with a respectable looking renovation. Now fast forward 2 years and the cupboards look worse than the ones that were removed. The old cupboard doors had 12 years of wear and tear. The paint has peeled and or chipped off and the work did not hold up well. This is in a home with only 2 adults living so there is not a lot of wear and tear. The bottom line is poor quality workmanship. Did our renovation look good when it was first completed? yes. Did ReBorn repair damage caused by their contractors? yes. Did they give us a long lasting product? I don't consider 2 years long lasting so I say No.

Company Response

Dear Robin, this is the first we have heard of any quality control issues with you renovation post completion, and would like the opportunity to meet with you and assess/fix the issues. We always strive for perfection on every job, and have tried to contact you today multiple times to promptly address these finish items.

We completely agree that our workmanship needs to stand the test of time. Our team of experts and our product rep are currently working on this issue trying to figure out what chemical reaction is happening. Once the analysis is complete we will develop an action plan to rectify the failing areas at your convenience, and get your kitchen back to show room condition.

Sincerely,

Management
