The job entailed removal and disposal of old patio stones, digging out about 170 sq ft in our side yard, back filling with crushed stone and screenings, and laying a pattern of pavers and curbing with some custom cutting around irregular edges and posts. Brad and his crew had all the right equipment and did a beautiful job. They started and finished in the planned time frame. They were very friendly and helpful and stuck with the original price estimate even though they did some extra work not included in the quote. We recommend them strongly.

This project included re-siding a 2-story semi-detached home, plus the installation of insulation, soffit, fascia, and frieze, and capping of various pieces of trim. Century's estimator, Gary, was friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable, innovative, and obviously experienced. He promptly put together a detailed quote fully matching our requirements and discussions. The Century Aluminum price was not our lowest quote, but the quote and discussions with Gary gave us a reassuring sense that the work would be done properly and efficiently with no hassles. And it was nice to deal with a company that actually answers their phone rather than having to leave a voice message. The installers, Matt and Alex, worked diligently and skillfully. They were amiable, knowledgeable, always willing to discuss what they were doing, and open to our suggestions. The project took 2 weeks during some of the hottest weather of the summer and even when working in some very awkward places, they ensured that every piece was carefully fitted and properly installed. They cleaned up at the end of each day with a more thorough cleaning on the last day. The work started very close to the scheduled date (planned 3 months earlier); took the estimated time to finish; and was completed on budget with no hassles. We would recommend Century Aluminum to anyone needing siding, soffit, fascia and related work.

As part of our recent kitchen renovation we bought a new stove, fridge, microwave oven and dishwasher through Faulkner's Appliances. Their price was substantially lower that any of the other places we looked, and they were very cooperative when we needed to revise our deliver date because of construction delays. They uncrated and installed the stove and fridge efficiently and cleaned up nicely. The dishwasher and microwave were installed by our contractor.

We had a custom mirror door and bathroom mirror installed by Mirror Interiors at a very competitive price. Sales staff and installers were friendly and knowledgeable. We had a minor problem with the mirror but they immediately offered to replace it, and the replacement was delivered and installed within a couple of days. We would have no hesitation about making future purchases through this company,

Sky Kitchens did an amazing job! We shopped around quite a bit for someone to renovate our kitchen then, thanks to HomeStars, we found Sky Kitchen Cabinets. When Mohammed came over to take some measurements, he made a number of suggestions that we loved. He included a lot of extras features that converted our original concept into a show-piece kitchen. He listened to our ideas, identified several potential problems, then came up with solutions in a design that greatly exceeded our expectations. Mohammed created true custom designs, not the standard cabinet sizes and configurations that other "custom" cabinet places tried to sell to us. We needed non-standard cabinet widths and depths, and had some existing plumbing that had to be specially fitted. And Sky's price was very reasonable. I guess their in-house manufacturing can accommodate non-standard sizes and special adaptations without causing the price to skyrocket. The contractor Mohammed recommended (Raja from Modern Design Kitchen & Bath) was outstanding. He gutted our old kitchen, arranged for excellent subcontractors to do the electrical and tile work, looked after all the plumbing and ductwork requirements, then refinished the walls and ceiling to match with Mohammed's design. The whole team worked well together. No hassles. No arguments. No unexpected costs. Sky's cabinet installers, Harjeet and Arthur, were also great. They worked quickly, but took time to make sure everything fit together properly, even when it meant taking an installed cabinet out and moving it over one centimeter to prevent a pull-out shelf from scrapping on it's cabinet door. They also identified a poor fitting door and arranged for a replacement. I'm sure most companies would have just ignored these problems. Cambria added the finishing touch with their beautiful quartz countertops. We are very pleased with the final results, and would highly recommend Sky Kitchen Cabinets to anyone redoing their kitchen.

Raja and Mo did a great job renovating our kitchen. They are highly knowledgeable, efficient, reliable, punctual, and very easy to work with. The subcontractors they provided for the tile and electrical work were excellent. Suggestions Raja made contributed significantly to our final design. From stripping the room back to the bare studs through to the finished kitchen, Raja stuck closely to his schedule and budget. There was a short delay getting our electrical panel upgraded but that was caused by the power utility, not by Raja or the electrical contractor. Working closely with Sky Kitchen Cabinets and Cambria Countertops, Raja and Mo produced a finished kitchen worthy of being shown in magazines. We have proudly shown our new kitchen to friends and neighbours, and they have been very impressed.
