I hired Kris to do cabinet refacing. He drew up a contract, i gave him half the deposit of $2100 to order the doors at a Lowes store. Weeks had passed and no updates or nothing from him. I kept having to call him and he would say he is looking into in and would get back to me. Of course he would never get back to me, i kept having to call and he always had an excuse. We made an appt. for 10 am one day where i took the day off work. 10am came, then 11, 12 1 oclock and i already left several messages where he never returned my call. I eventually got a hold of him using another phone number, he answered and told me another excuse which made me suspicious. turns out he never ordered these cupboards after i did some investigating. in this case i'm not giving him the benifit of the doubt after the run around he gave me. i would never ever reccommend anyone to this guy. i hired him for a previous job, asked for references, they turned out good (probably friends and family)and he was pretty good then, that's how i decided to go back with him second time around. I don't know what his problem is this time around, but very unprofessional and glad to be rid of his business. P.S I did get my deposit back, even that was a bit of a hassle, said he would drop it off, after a no show for that i decided to go to his place and collect, which he left in the mailbox. Not worth the hassle or stress.
