The carpet was the final piece in a 4.5 month house renovation. At this point I was exhausted from all the other issues that I had encountered. I had an extremely smooth and pleasant transaction with Glemore Doors. It started with a quote directly from the owner, Jim Harris to scheduling with Corey to install with Darcy. Background: I solicited four quotes throughout the city to replace our old garage door. Outside of Glemore I only had one other positive experience that I would personally recommend from my encounters other than Glenmore Doors. Why I chose Glenmore? Within an hour of submitting an online form for quotation related to a specific door I was interested in, Corey called me to see if someone could drop by the house within the hour to take measurements and to ensure the quote was accurate. My wife commented how friendly, knowledgeable and professional this individual was. Glenmore was the only company to ask to come to ensure the quote was accurate (there was no hidden additional costs). From their Jim provided me a detailed quote in less than 24 hours and also provided some alternatives to what I had initially asked for. One of Jim's suggestions is what I ended up going with. It fit my budget, quality and style I was looking for. I chose Glemore based on up front service, competitive pricing and turn around time. The result: I was quoted 4 weeks to receive the door at which time install would be scheduled. I was expecting the install to happen around the end of April (5 weeks after ordering). I am happy to say that the door was received and installed in less than 3 weeks from Chicago and was done perfect. The final billing was completed exactly to Jim's quote. We had Smith do a complete refinish (new color) on our main floor, plus install new wood on our curved stairs and entire top floor. We had multiple quotes done and all quotes were within $500 of each other. Most people tend to select the lowest quote and move forward. I however did not and selected Smith based on industry feedback (referral from a top flooring company that didn't offer the services needed) and my initial interaction with Mark and Stephen. The level of customer service that Smith Bros demonstrated ranks as some of, if not the best customer service I have experienced in any industry. On top of unparalleled customer service the craftsmanship was flawless. Mark, Stephan, Khan, Kelly, Rick, Kent, Lynn and Shaun were an absolute pleasure to work with. I can't recommend this company enough and I wouldn't even entertain other companies in the future for these services. Do yourself a favor and talk with them before making a decision. The level of detail, information and addressing potential problems upfront was something none of the other companies did with us.
