Malcolm is a genius! Our 1920's house now has its original, beautiful, inlaid hardwood floors! They were in such bad shape (full of nails, hot water radiator stains, etc) that we had planned to recarpet. It never occurred to us that these floors could be retrieved. He did a beautiful job upstairs/downstairs/actual stairs/bannister. We got some quotes for good quality carpeting, and in the end we paid about the same amount to have the hardwood restored/refinished. Malcolm is very knowledgable, was fully dedicated to our project throughout, and a real pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!
