I came back from a weekend away to find a boiling house(28C), I attempted to lower my AC. After a LONG sweaty night (not fun with 3 kids, BTW), I realized that indeed I needed help. I left a message at Coretemp and got a swift response from Richard, who initially spent a lot of time patiently trying to troubleshoot with me over the phone to save me some $. He made time to come to my house Wednesday morning, and while he was a touch late, he did inform me reasonably. When he informed me that afternoon that the unit he had installed was dented, I was happy to keep it but he INSISTED on replacing it. Came the next day and did so (after letting us have relief the night before with the dented one). This guy is a class act from start to finish. I will never go anywhere else for any products that Coretemp services/sells, period. What a delight.

I have been shopping at Glen Echo for many years for my garden needs. They have a great mix of flowers and a vast selection of trees, shrubs and garden sculptures. It amazes me how knowledgeable and calm the staff there (I am always frazzled chasing my kids) are, and am grateful for their assistance every time. Thanks to Glen Echo, my home has won a gardening award from the City of Brampton 2 years in a row (fingers crossed for 2010!).

I have used Russell for paint jobs for many years, at the recommendation of my former next door neighbors. I have found him to be tidy and efficient, easy to communicate with and diligent in his ability to get the job done properly. He also has a very good eye for color, and upon request has made excellent paint suggestions. What I most appreciate about Russ is that when he has found the odd nick in the wall, or areas that need touching up that are unrelated to the job at hand, he does so without complaint, and often with very little, if any, increase in cost. I have suggested him many times to people, and will continue to do so.

I dealt with the sales people at Sodhi numerous times in 2006. I found the store staff to be courteous and friendly. I bought several items that were well priced, and was also able to negotiate better pricing with the considerate sales person. The men who delivered the furniture went out of their way to ensure my happiness to assemble the bedroom set in a timely fashion, and also assisted me in the removal of my old furniture (which was NOT their job! And much appreciated!)and were tidy and clean in my home. There was only one negative issue that I encountered with that business, which was this: I bought the entertainment unit (for a significant amount of money, approx $900), and it was assembled at my home. approximately a month later, I noticed that one of the legs was assembled incorrectly and did not rest on the floor. When I returned to the store, the man told me that he was unwilling to send one of the men over to adjust it without my paying an additional sum of money (approx 50 dollars)or making another purchase at the store (at the time I was looking for a bunk bed, and they knew that). I was disappointed in that, and purchased other items else where after that. If one was looking for sturdy, nice looking furniture at an excellent price, I would recommend that store. However, I would caution them to ensure that all items were assembled to their liking while the assembly men were there.
