I have done six renovations with Petta Construction after selecting Petta out of 3 companies I shortlisted to when planning a significant addition to the front of my family home. Our 1st home was well built, but a poor renovation had been added to the front and was leaking. We also had a small kitchen, small LR and not much room for coats and shoes. Dino came up with by far the best plan for less money than 1 of the other two companies. Throughout the job, I kept getting ideas and Dino, Nick and team took them in stride and delivered a spectacular end product in line with the original project schedule. It solved all the issues I had with the home. Fast forward 12 years, and I have done 5 more renovations, including a near complete rebuild of a single man's lakefront bungalow into a large family home for 5 with dedicated rooms for Gym, Games room, Kids LR, Dining Room, Theater Room and a 28'x25' garage with new bedroom and bathroom. It increased the value of our home more than it cost. We continued to build 2 new offices and an in-law apartment for an elderly relative. Each time, Petta was consultative (providing/taking ideas and bringing them to life), professional (cleaned up every day, no swearing) and caring. We first consulted Petta Construction after having tried to improve our home with another contractor and being unsatisfied. We arranged an appointment, stated our needs and were very impressed with the consultative approach Dino demonstrated with his strong listening skills and genuine concern for our home. He was further patient and creative in fielding our ideas and firing back improved and practically functional versions of them. We rewarded this approach by entrusting Petta Construction with the task of completing a major addition to our family home. We were so pleased with the result that we enlisted Petta Construction for two new projects to complete a new bathroom and a new concrete driveway for us. Results again exceeded our expectations and we are now in hosting mode enjoying our vastly improved home. Petta Construction completed all necessary preparation work before starting the job to ensure the best possible result. All three projects were completed on time and on budget even though we changed our minds a few times during the work. All people who worked at our home were good people and our neighbors commented that they could see that the people working on our home cared deeply about their work.
