I had a rotting column supporting the roof on my front porch and signed up for Home Stars contractors to contact me about it. Three contractors contacted me, and asked for photos and more information. I sent all three of them the same photos and information. Kris from Happy Construction is the only one who followed up with me and came to see me the next day. I suppose that the job was too small for the other contractors. Kris and his wife quoted a reasonable price and were able to do the work within a few days. They are honest and reliable - I ended up paying less than I was quoted because the materials used came in at a lower cost. I am very happy with the finished work and would recommend them to anyone needing jobs done in or around their home. Because they are a small sized company, they are excellent for smaller sized projects that the bigger companies may not be interested in doing. They did the work quickly and cleaned up nicely after they were done.
