I had Interprovincial back in to spray foam the rest of my basement (most had been done as part of a previous job. They were on time, polite, thorough, clean and attentive and the product was great.
I had Brunet install a new gas furnace and went with them because of the extras promised (T line for future gas BBQ, etc...). The installers were not great (quality of install may be OK but they seemed unhappy with the way that I wanted it set up - all discussed with sales beforehand). It turned out that quite a few things couldn't be done the way that they said it could (gas line runs through hallway in the basement, exposed). They left a mess and would have left a bigger mess if I hadn't asked if they were planning to put the insulation back in the ceiling. In all fairness, the sales guy did offer to send someone back over to clean it up but at that point I preferred to do it myself. They are having to come back in to correct some things that weren't done right (again, not bad install but things not where they were requested and a damaged door on the new furnace). They also did not install the T for the gas BBQ despite the fact that it was on the order and I raised it again while they were there. Again, lots promised but disappointment with the result. They do seem keen to make it right and have been very responsive but it was a disappointing install process. The furnace does seem to be working well though - we'll see how it does for my heating bills as the winter goes on.
The folks at Kingston Carpet World are a great bunch - without fail, every time I've gone in, someone has been helpful, nice and knowledgeable. I bought my bathroom tiles through them and after I ran into a problem with grout staining (I installed myself), someone actually came to my house to check it out and offer suggestions. A high recommend from me.
Terrible service, terrible attitude. Rude, rude, rude... Do not deal with them. Had MUCH better experiences at Grant Tile, Kingston Carpetworld and even the big box stores. If quality of service is an indicator of success, they should be out of business.
