The first time we met Mr. Hughes we were very impressed. We went through the renovations that we wish to have and we awaited the estimate. We interviewed 5 Contractors all with the same requests. From the very start Hughes Bros. presented the most detailed estimate of all 5. They were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. Having never done renovations, we did not know what to expect or ask. We were provided all the answers I requested and more. He made us feel comfortable with our choices and guidance for questions. Not only did they complete the renovation on time, they also were meticulous in their cleaning up. We were guided through the renovations without stress or angst. They made this major renovation a pleasure and the confidence to live elsewhere while they were proceeding. We cannot stress enough the comfortable atmosphere that Robert, his brother and his contractors provided for us. Upon the reveal I was almost in tears as the full impact of the work that was done was made apparent to us. I cannot recommend this company enough for their meticulous and precise workmanship. We would have no reservations in having this company manage any further renovations. Thank you so much for all your hard work and for your tolerance of our questions and reservations. Our 32 year old house looks like it was built yesterday!

We needed to repair 2 cracks in our basement prior to our getting a new furnace and air conditioner. We called the company that we rent our hot water heater from to move it 5' from the wall and to put it back after the repair. That appointment was from 9 am to 12 pm. This done, Fitz and Darryl were called and came right away to repair the crack in between the movings of the heater. Extremely prompt, very professional, and well equipped they completed the repair in a minimal amount of time. Very impressed with their attention to detail and thoroughness. Fitz also made some beneficial suggestions to further reduce cold and leakage in our basement. Great information, accomodation and professionalism. Highly recommended!
