Margaret in Port Alberni

We recently removed the old carpet from our stairs and discovered a few problems. The previous owner had tacked pieces of lino on for the risers and the builder had cut all the corners off the steps. Also, the skirt wasn't high enough to allow for the installation of linoleum. Herman fixed everything so the flooring people had no problems putting in the linoleum. We were so pleased with his work we have hired him to install all our baseboards and some trim.

The workers did a great job of installing our laminate and linoleum flooring in spite of running into several problems in this old house. They kept me informed and explained how they tackled the problem areas. We are very pleased with the results of their workmanship.

In all honesty, we did have a bit of trouble at first. The paint (a new product on the market) was fragile and kept disappearing in certain spots; under my soap dispenser, a faded ring from a plate sitting on the counter. I was getting pretty discouraged. However, every time I phoned the Nanaimo company they sent someone out right away to make repairs. I have never experienced such wonderful, professional and fast service before. Then I was told the paint manufacturer had come out with a protective top coat for the paint and Ecocountertops came back to my house and completely redid my kitchen counters. I have waited 6 weeks to see if we would have any more trouble with the paint but my counters still look fabulous. I love my kitchen, now.
