They eventually installed a 6 panel solar water heater on the roof with a hot water storage tank in the basement. The actual installers were quite good and efficient. The entire system took almost a year to complete because they said parts arrived broken from their suppliers. However, I found the management evasive and totally unresponsive to my phone calls. They seem to be in the process of restructuring (2009-10) or folding and still often don't answer or return calls. I believe the system is good but don't think I'll get much maintenance support. Note: They have moved offices and changed their phone number to 604-283-1798

So in the construction of the roof, it comes in 32' sections. My roof 55', so the contractor had to make a join in the metal strips, which are clearly visible, and also i'm concerned about when the cold comes that the roof will leak, as the metal expands and contracts with the weather changes.
