Assisted Review

An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.

Our house was wired in 1950 with few upgrades. There was no light in three rooms but one light on the circuit was still working. A family friend who knows a fair bit about electricity could not find the problem but suspected it was a short in a white wire in the inaccessible attic. Mike figured out where the short was and was able to thread a new wire to reconnect the circuit. We are grateful to have lights again without having to go to the expense of mending walls.

Company Response

Hi Della,

It can definitly be a challenge to fix a 1950's system. We lucked out with being able to get that new wire in without cosmetic damage. These repairs don't always work out so easy.

Thank you for your business

With Kind regards,

Mike

I manage 5 older properties in Old Strathcona--every time there was a plumbing issue I would get a sinking feeling in my stomach. Not anymore. I finally have found someone I can call who I am confident can address the problem and who will charge a fair price.

We get a lot of phone calls, and have serviced thousands of locations in the Edmonton area.

Unfortunately, we still hear too many stories of how 'the last plumber' made a huge mess or charged them an outrageous amount of money to fix something. In fact, these stories were exactly what encouraged us to start our own business ~ the plumbing company we worked for seemed more interested in how much they could charge rather than doing what was right for the customer. I would not want to be treated like that myself, so I started Edmonton Emergency Plumbing in 2003.

Even if you choose not to use us, we hope you will give us a chance to earn your business by giving us a call. Questions are still FREE and in most instances we can give you an estimated price range immediately over the phone.
