Our problem was that the door was only opening, but it refused to go down and close. The guy over the phone instructed us how to disable the opener, and use the garage door manually, and said he will be at our house within an hour. He came, took a look at the door, tested something with the sensors, and said that is it, try the door. I couldn't believe since I was expecting an estimate, or the regular "wow this door is ruined", but he just explained that someone accidentally moved one of the sensors.
