I purchased a 2ton a/c unit from sears - 10 year warranty - This is the 2nd year for it. The last week of June I noticed it wasnt cooling properly - after multiple calls/weeks (3 to be exact) we finally got sears to agree to come in and diagnose. Turns out the evaporator was leaking and the part needed to be ordered. It's now Sept 3rd and we've finally got the part and someone installing it today. Thanks Sears for making my a/c unit primed for the winter months, cant wait to use it ! There's absolutely no sense in having a warranty if it takes 2 1/2 months turnaround time to fix it when something goes wrong. I know better for next time - not that i'll be buying from Sears again.
