Bill was extremely patient and responsive while we explored options to redo our backyard. He always returned our phone calls and never hesitated to come by the house to talk through options. When we asked for references, he was more than happy to take us on a tour of houses he did in the neighborhood. The quality of the work he did for us was fantastic, it felt like his team were treating our house as if it was their own. They not only brought great ideas to the design but also put up with our indecisiveness and worked with us to help us visualize the final output. But it was the little things that make me wish I could give them an 11 out of 10. Without us asking, they fixed a neighbors fence that backs onto our yard, fixed a loose board on an old fence they weren’t working on, fixed an old outside drain, etc. Very important to us, they also accommodated our dog by building a ramp for him so that he could still go outside while they worked on our deck. Thank you Bill, Peter and Mike (+all your teams) for an amazing job. We’re very excited about spending time in our new yard.

This is our second time working Stratas Design Build. Our first reno with Stratas was so positive that shortly after we were done we realized that we wanted to renovate again but this time go much bigger and make it our dream house. It took us 5 years to find the right house and when we did, we knew we had to have Stratas do the work. They were with us every step of the way, starting with a visit to see the newly purchased house before we even had possession to help us start thinking through design options. When we ran into some unexpected obstacles with the construction permit, Andy and team worked through the weekend to quickly provide alternative design options which both met our needs and addressed the issues raised by the City. In the end, I think we ended up with a better design then we were originally planning. We weren’t always the easiest clients, making meaningful design changes during the construction process – thank you Andy for moving the stairs to the other side of the house at the last minute – but the entire team was always accommodating and understanding. Stratas Design’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is second to none and that dedication extends to his team and trades people who are always more than willing to walk you through their process or provide suggestions/advice. Thank you to everyone at Stratas Design for building our dream house. We wouldn’t hesitate to work with you a third time, but I think we may stay in this house for a while.

We used Stratas Design Build to help us with our first ever renovation on our 108 yr old home. It was a complete redo of the main floor and kitchen and we could not have dreamed of a better partner to help us through the process. Andy’s commitment to service, willingness to work with us through every step of the process and making sure that we were always 100% satisfied made the whole experience easy. We lived in the house through the entire renovation and the team at Stratas Design did everything humanly possible to minimize the impact on our lives. The attention to detail, creativity and commitment to getting the job done right resulted in a finished product that was better than we could have every imagined.
