Our idea of renovating our bathroom started with a call to Yousif. He was punctual and when we expressed our ideas, he even offered his own suggestions which we really appreciated. Yousif showed us how we can create more space which impressed us. He was not holding back any ideas on what were suitable and good for the washroom. Even though our washroom is a small washroom, we feel that the materials, technique and work quality were being done properly. During the renovation: The project start on time. He and his contractors made sure our house was protected before starting the work everyday He and his team cleaned up at the end of the day before they left Yousif always let us know when he is going to arrive and always very considerate on how late he was staying so that we can have our time back with our family and kids He was patience in listening to our ideas, design and needs during the renovation. There were problems occurred during the renovation but Yousif fixed it right away without any hesitation He helped us in shopping for our bathroom tile and take pictures for us to select the tiles. We really appreciate it as it saved us a trip to the tile shop on our busy daily life He responded on all our text and messages in a timely manner Yousif make sure we were happy and satisfied when the renovation was completed We had worked with several contractors in the past, I think Yousif is so far our favourite contractors a he offered the best customer service. Review: Here are some facts from our basement+ bathroom renovations from Amro: Iyad was able to give us an estimates on the spot and the formal written quote was provided very quickly thereafter His quote was both fair and very reasonable and the renovation was completed on budget The renovation was completed on time as promised Iyad was very responsive to all our text messages.We sometimes wondered how he finds time to respond so quickly? Anyways We are very impressed! There were a few frustrations here and there( which was normal for renovations/project like this) but Iyad was able to address all issues in a timely manner and professionally There was a time when there were challenges to get the huge glass down the stairs (we were a little stressed), but Iyad and his team get the job done even though they had to break the walls and repatched it. Again, we are very impressed! Iyad is not just the project manager, he is our consultant, advisor, designer and the person we can go to during the course of our renovations as he is not afraid to give out his ideas and point of view His teams were very decent people, respectful, friendly and hardworking. They always greeted and respected our dog. Thank you for your love to Pappy! They cleaned up after themselves(basement) and our garage is even cleaner than before! Thank you! We had to call Iyad back after the renovation to fix a small issue. He was very responsive to our text and came really quickly to fix the issue. We are thankful for that. This is our first renovation and we are a little nervous and stressed. Iyad, Thank you for showing us that there can be a good and reliable contractor out there like Amro. It all started with some ice accumulation on our air conditioner unit. After doing my own research and trying to fix it on my own I quickly realized that this needed the attention of a professional. I began doing research on HVAC contractors. I found CoreTemp here on Homestars and read many of reviews and decided to call them in. Richard answered the phone, and after explaining the situation he arrived a short time later. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained it to us and serviced the unit. He was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, honest and most importantly was friendly to our small dog who loves visitors. He never once pressured us into replacing our old air conditioner unit, instead gave us his opinion on our existing unit and discussed several options for us. One of the items the home inspector noted oh his inspection report (we moved in a few years ago) was that the furnace and AC were old and replacement should be considered in a few years. This note was came to my mind when I noticed the Ice on the AC. We asked Richard about replacements, and he provided us with all kinds of information, brochures, he basically gave us an education of various HVAC units pros / cons etc. What should have been a quick service call turned into a lengthy discussion, and not once did I see Richard look at his watch or phone. He came across as someone who loves talking to people about HVAC, someone who takes pride in his company and work, and someone who is very dedicated to creating lasting relationships with his customers. After the discussion I felt like this was a guy Mike Holmes would use at one of his Job sites. After doing more research we decided to replaced our furnace & AC and called Richard back. He was prompt like before and explained the work to be done, and answered more questions we had. After price & installation dates were agreed on, Richard arrived on time again, with his team.
