One of the worst experiences with moving I can imagine! Movers showed up a couple of days late, after some repeated phoning, late afternoon of a SUNDAY...they could not find the address....had to go to a city landmark and literally guide them to the house. THen one of them shoved a contract under my nose demanding I sign it without reading the fine print which I sought to review as quickly as I could...it seemed to waive all responsibility by ME to let them deliver or not, when they liked, etc. I signed and put a qualifier behind my scrawl of 'in as is' condition at time of pickup.....they decided it was a 'contract alteration', ranted at me for contract modification, and walked out...refused to either refund or set a firm date till late into next month when of course I'd have to lose my personal ticket for the travel to B.C. otherwise and rebook plus the extra inconvenience of somehow staying on after I was to have moved for most of next month, etc. WORST experience possible....irresponsible staff who know nothing re proper contract or FULL DISCLOSURE Of terms and conditions involved, only try to pressure all into their 'legal document' as if GOD made such rather than their legal rep. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE IS MY BEST ADVICE!
