We had a leak in our sink, needed to fix - they convinced we needed shutoff valves (no problem) when they quoted we felt it was high but he convinced us that this was the going rate - way off base. When we called after to complain they refused to negotiate - even though it was proven over-priced. Paid by mastercard so we were out of luck.
