We own a home with Ply Gem Windows. The wooden windows are 4 years old and several of the open/close laches have failed resulting in a poor seal. This is due to an inferior design of the windows, which only has 1 latch at the bottom. Ply Gem does not stand behind their warranty, they have poor customer service, it took 2 months to schedule a window repair, they did not show up on the date they confirmed, and their workmanship is dismal . If you are looking for great windows that are free of drafts, open and close seamlessly while dealing with courteous and professional staff...then DO NOT CALL...Ply Gem Windows.
