The plumber spilt a sludgy water from the old lift pump all over the floor (including carpet) and did not clean it up or even mention it had happened. The water tubing was initially run directly in front of an exposed electrical junction (this was repaired when we called to complain).
The work was supposed to take 4-5 weeks, but dragged on on and off for 7 months. Wrong materials were ordered on several occassions and the builder's story was not consistent with what we were told by the building supplies store about the circumstances in which this happened. In addition to being way over time, the work was over budget as well.
I bought an income property and needed to get the basement finished in short order to rent it. In two weeks Kevin and his crew built three bedrooms and a basement, replaced three windows for egress, and came in on budget.
