They start off as your best friend and then once you commit you can forget about communications with them. Damaged property, sub par work as you had to be careful to notice damage done as they will not tell you. Had bench broken, trim not put back (behind a cabinet so could not see), drywall paper torn, drywall gouged when flooring went in etc. Still coming across issues however was advised by first general work was complete without even asking us nor having seen first general through entire restoration. Emails impossible to get a response etc. Waiting over a month to settle & pay account to get nightmare over and done with. Funny now it has been a while and I am starting to notice the shoddy workmanship that was done. Behind furniture in bedrooms where the flooring was done the trim is not attached against wall as it is just leaning with 1/2 inch gaps in it. Basement has drywall paper torn from it and yes also hidden. So I guess as we move or rearrange furniture more and more items will appear. Too much. Still no response so now do not care as money sitting in my account. If your insurance recommends First General please for your own sake get them to send someone else. They do not care about you or your loved ones only the 10-15% they get from subtracting the job. I have also been waiting to settle up on this claim since July 27th so that I can pay for the work without any reply from them. Have not replied nor has tried to get a hold of me so I guess the gaslighting is not only when work is being done but also to get paid. Don’t care as it is sitting in my bank account and I refuse to chase them to pay them. But my piece of advice is to stay as far away from them as possible and am ashamed of my insurance company sending them here in the first place.

It has been less than six months after the install and now some of my cupboards do not shut all the way. Such poor workmanship I wish I would never have dealt with KITCHEN SAVERS S I was promised years of carefree service. I guess this must be in Brett's word "industry Standards" quality. For your own sake do not use them as you have been warn. Update The "Industry Standard" space for my kitchen cupboards gap now my doors will not close. Please see pictures below. $9000 wasted in my eyes. Don't say you have not been warned. If thinking about using this company just be prepared if issues arise for the response from Greg "It is up to Industry Standards" and be prepared to be nickelled and dimed over stupid things. I refaced using chocolate pear cupboards and the space between the doors you can see the white shelves. I asked if they could have the 3m stickers place along the face of these shelves so they would blend instead of seeing the white shelves when door is shut. Greg replied is it is up to " Industry Standards" and if I wanted that it is an extra? For a company that installs kitchens I am sure this is not the first time it has been mentioned so either include this in the price before hand to ensure customers being happy. All they had to do is put a strip on the front of six shelves and us as customers would have been very pleased with the results instead they stick out like a sore thumb and we are very unsatisfied. I will go out and buy mactac for my $9000 reface and do it myself. So if thinking of using Kitchen Savers beware as if I knew this before hand I would have run as fast as I could from this company. As far as "Industry Standards" if you are planning to use them make them give you a copy of these so you can understand after the job is complete. It is too bad as a simple fix would have made our experience a positive experience instead of having a negative experience with Kitchen Savers. The experience with Greg selling us the kitchen was that he was oh so nice and then after the install he could care less about ensuring a positive experience for the customer. So sad as the resolution was so simple. Update Aug.\17 as you can see in last photo we cannot remove fingerprint from the door for some reason and Kitchen Saver Barrie will not respond to my enquiry to what I can use to remove the fingerprints. They just don't care about making anything right and once paid basically too bad so sad. Nice way to treat your customers. So now must go through our contractor who will remove the door and take it to Barrie Kitchen Saver and have it repaired/replaced. See how they make everything difficult for everyone once they have received their money. Buyer beware as they are so nice when booking your job then you are treated like garbage. Nice!!!!!!!
