I found asbestos tiles on the stairs of my stair well after ripping up old carpeting and wanted them gone as soon as possible. I called four different companies to quote the removal of the tiles and Asbestos Tiles was by far the most competitive price. This was not an easy job. The tiles were adhered with a black tar-like mastic and were on both the steps and the risers. The Asbestos Tiles team showed up on time as scheduled and answered each question I had about the set-up, safety precautions, and the process they would use to remove the tiles. It took them three days to fully remove the tiles and the mastic (which the other companies quoted literally thousands more to do) and the stairs are free from all signs of tile and black mastic. I was very impressed with the constant communication about the progress of the work (you can’t see what they’re doing because the work site is completely encased) as well as the work ethic and attention to detail. I would highly recommend this company for the job they did for me. Very pleased with this experience.

I own a 109 year old, three storey house in Hintonburg Ottawa that was in dire need of a new roof. The building had not been properly maintained for decades and it was very apparent when you looked at the roof. I had very large ice dams on the roof every winter which caused damage to the roof, soffit and facia, so I was hoping to remedy the problem but had very little idea where to start. After calling a number of roofing companies in Ottawa to quote the work, Chris of Remember Me Roofing was the only one who booked an appointment to meet with me in person to discuss my concerns and questions – and I had a number of them. He showed up to the appointment on time and was very knowledgeable and very patient in answering each of my questions. He provided options to solve the issues with the roof and took his time going through each one. The quote to complete the work was very competitive, especially given the fact that the scope he quoted included solutions to my roofing issues that the other companies didn’t even include or mention. The other reason I went with Remember Me Roofing is because Chris explained that each member of his team were in fact employees, trained by Remember Me Roofing and not seasonal sub-contractors. This is important to me – it shows investment in the team and by the team members in the company they work for. The work was booked and started as scheduled (give or take a week due to really bad rain this spring / summer). The Remember Me Roofing team were fantastic to have working on my house. Cory and Scott did a fantastic job on the soffit and facia (which was not a straight forward job because of an uneven roof line) and Jordan and the roofing team (Chris, Walter and everyone) were so nice and answered every possible question I had. They did a beautiful job and I can’t say how relieved I am to have hired Remember Me Roofing to solve a very big issue that caused me stress for a number of years. I had heard so many people talk about roofing nightmares with other companies, but I can’t think of one thing this team could have done better. The work was finished on schedule, the clean-up was good and the whole experience was stress free. This was money very well spent and I have already recommended this team to three people (and the job finished just yesterday). A very big thank you to Chris and Remember Me Roofing!
