We hired Holland Homes and Renovations when it was time to completely re-do the first floor of our old detached house in Sandy Hill. The main floor had suffered a few bad renovations from past owners and we were not too sure what to expect. We did not know if we would be able to get the open concept layout that was so important to us. Holland adapted the renovation plan to fit in our budget helping us to identify the best choices to increase the value of our home while getting the end result that fitted our lifestyle . It was a major work requiring the removal of a load bearing wall, changing the location of the kitchen and the powder room and leveling the seriously uneven floors . Holland did an outstanding job completing the renovations within a few weeks. Robert, the owner, helped us to chose the right kitchen designer and recommended us a few suppliers. His staff was always polite and friendly. As it is a small team , we had no trouble letting them alone in the house in our absence. The house looks amazing, the kitchen is huge and so practical, and with the open concept layout we can see our daughter whenever she is on the main floor. The result is much better than expected and improved so much our life quality. Rob was always quick to respond to our calls and several emails. As in any major renovations we got a few unexpected expenses for things that could not have been foreseen. We are happy that Holland did not cut corners and did the things properly.
