I wanted to get my garage ceiling drywalled and insulated so called Raff to come and give me an estimate based on his Homestars reviews. It was a good call. He came when he said he would and, after looking at the job, suggested we forget about the drywall, just add insulation and plastic sheeting. An estimate I got about 3 years ago was nearly $6000 to drywall and blow in insulation. His solution saved me a bundle of money. Once I had the garage cleaned out and ready to go, he came when he said he would (on a Saturday no less), added the insulation and had one of his crew come on Sunday morning to finish off installing the plastic sheeting. I couldn't be happier. No longer do I have a "black hole of Calcutta" in the summer heat and I expect my gas bills will drop like a rock in the winter. His customer service is wonderful, he's polite and respectful. He even, bless his heart, swept out the winter grime which I was planning to do after he finished. I have absolutely no trouble recommending him. Everyone should have a guy like Raff they can turn to when they need a house job done. Thanks Raff for your great work!

I called Jason after my garage had been broken into. Among other things, my remote control had been nicked so would need to get new ones. He offered to come out three days later which was the soonest he could be there but in the meantime we had a conversation about the new wireless technology built into the new openers. I decided then to upgrade my opener and he came the next morning, installed the new one and it works beautifully. He oiled the bearings, tightened what needed to be tightened and loosened some other things - basically changed the settings so that it worked so much better than the old one. He was very professional and spent quite a bit of time providing me with the information I needed to make a good decision. Lovely guy...so helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to you.

I had Shane out recently to install some new lights in the garage and remove the old ones. When he arrived, he knew it would take longer than the time he had available that Friday so offered to come back and do the job on Sunday morning which was really good of him as he knew I wanted to get the job done and it would be hard to take off more time from work. He was prompt and finished the job with no problems and I'm very happy with the end result. This is the third job I've had them do. I'm really pleased with Shane and his staff. They're honest, prompt and hardworking. I've also had some really nice chats with Shane about our dogs and families which makes him a pretty decent guy in my book. Would highly recommend 24/7. Very unhappy with the job done on my crabapple trees last fall. The company brushed this off by saying it was a misunderstanding and they could only take 20% of the tree off without damaging it - too bad it was all on one side of the tree. Since they're the experts, I assumed they knew what a pruning and shaping meant and what a tree should look like afterwards but it doesn't seem so. They've practically ruined my beautiful trees. One is completely lopsided, the other slightly less so. I would never recommend this company to do any work. I would like to post a photo here but that doesn't seem possible. I've had these trees pruned in the past by another company and they looked great, very balanced and pleasing to the eye. The trees are in flower right now which is one of the reasons I wanted to wait before posting a review. Last year's pruning is just plain butchery. I could just cry.

I called Curt on Thursday, March 5th to see when I might schedule an installation. I had my new water heater hooked up and ready to go on Friday, March 6th by 11:00 am. Perhaps not a normal occurrence since there may have been a cancellation which allowed for such quick service but he bent over backwards to accommodate my schedule. Dealing with Curt and his installers was a delight. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and the product. Another thing, Curt gave me all the options but didn't try to upsell me on a bigger, more expensive water heater - just what was needed. Thanks Curt. I'll definitely recommend your company. I can see why you have a nearly perfect rating.

I've just had my clawfoot tub refinished by Blackstone. The first time was with another company 7 years ago but this job has turned out exceptionally well, much better than the first time. With all the work I've had done in my house, I expect to be disappointed somewhat when it comes to tradesmen and their craft but not with Blackstone. Baron did excellent work - hard to believe the tub is probably 80 years old; it looks brand new. It does require some loving care which will prolong the life of the finish but a small price to pay to keep my gorgeous tub looking beautiful. I'm so pleased to be able to recommend this company - five stars for sure. Service was excellent and very professional, and the entire process was relatively pain-free. Thank you Harry and Baron for your wonderful service. You've made this girl very happy. All the best to you in your future endeavours.
