Halo in Laurelwood

I found Roger (Ponds & Patio's) last year when installing my first (rather small) preformed pond. I was having trouble with creating a decent waterfall and his advice and on-site visit was much appreciated. Now that I've moved to a larger property, I've just installed a 5,000 gallon swimming pool for my koi with Roger's advice and guidance all along the way. He goes out of his way to be helpful, will tell you when you're not doing something sensible, and has great ideas, products (which he tests out on his own pond), and great prices in his store. His koi are top notch. I would highly recommend Ponds & Patios to anyone considering water gardening, with or without fish... I love my yard now :)

I've hired Alden Gibson twice now to inspect houses I've been considering purchasing, and couldn't be happier. He's very thorough- wants the buyers there while he does his inspection, and unlike others walks you through each room/ floor/ area, pointing out both small and larger issues. His advice about getting stuff fixed was great (suggested that most of it I could do myself, and explained how). He even made suggested for future finishing of the basement, and showed me where an extra electrical line entered the house. Thanks Alden!

Hired AMJ Campbell for the 4th time- this time an in-town move from Forest Hill to Laurelwood- downsizing my home. They were prompt, very nice, careful to wrap everything, took more than I had expected (I was moving some stuff myself), laid down floor cover- even pointed out a ding in the wall that they hadn't made! My "new house" has a warped garage door, and in minus 7 degree weather it popped a roller and would neither go up or down (stuck halfway). Needless to say I started investigating repair companies, but as serendipity would have it, an On-Track truck drove right by my house. I flagged down the owner who came over to pop the cord back in and put on my roller again. He also straightened the rails that the former owner had twisted because of hitting the door. When he was done, the door rolled up and down wonderfully freely, and when I asked how much I owed him, he said "It's Christmastime". This employee should get some kind of recognition- a bonus or something!! I will certainly consider On-Track when I come to replacing the damaged door for a real door- insulated and with windows. Thank you- you saved me from a very cold situation!!

I have purchased many rolls of sod, lots of small bags of mulch from Compact Sod and will be back this summer for more. I also have heard their fertilizer is amazing and will be buying grass from them this summer too. Price above was for a bag of black mulch last summer
