Garage door spring snapped & cables broke. Called Steve and he was able to come out in a little over 1 day. Was quick, polite and professional, providing a quote bfore doing any work. Steve took the time to explain what happened, how the parts can wear down over time and how to properly care for and maintain them going forward. He didn't rush the job and took time to inspect his work and the door track alignment, making sure the doors opened/closed before wrapping up.

Our 18 yo furnace wasn't working when we woke up on a really frigid Monday morning. After trying a few things, it was clear our furnace needed help. We gave Makhoul Mechanical a call and spoke to Moses. He was able to come out and inspect our furnace -- turned out that we needed a new flame sensor and ignitor. One hour later, it was back up and running! We appreciated the quick response and that Moses addressed the need at hand, rather than try and sell us a new furnace.

Wow! Working with finished basements was a dream come true! The estimate process was seamless and straightforward—no hidden costs and we were made aware of all upgrade costs, should we change our minds later. With 2 young children, the showroom was perfect for us—a one-stop-shop of basement products (flooring, washroom vanity, etc.) to choose from so that we didn’t have to spend precious time searching these out ourselves. We appreciated them referring us to the home theatre specialist, co-ordinating with him so that the home theatre was completed at the same time as the basement. The design with Igor was extremely helpful, helping us envision the lay-out of our basement and allowing us to discuss/decide on important elements before construction began. The teams who worked on the construction of our basement were great—respectful, hard-working—it was amazing what they created in just 2 weeks of work. They were also flexible in incorporating last minute design elements that we wanted which were not part of our original plan. In the end, we finished on time and on budget and could not be happier!
