I regularly deal with horror stories of bad installers in my profession, so my bar is raised quite a bit when I’m looking for professional installers at home. I did an above-average amount of research and picked Torontonian Flooring. I changed my mind a few times about colours and quality and Mike was more than accommodating during the quotation process. The installation was organized a few days after I accepted his price (in time for visitors I was expecting). Mike embodied a true professional by keeping to his scheduled day & time, completing the install within the estimated few hours and delivering an amazing quality of work - the pictures speak for themselves. I reckon buying windows is one of the worst buying experiences for a home owner! After going through the process twice in 18 months, I'm still surprised at the number of salesmen who do not take time to LISTEN to what a home owner wants, prepare quotes hastily and then proceed to PUSH for a buying decision - on the spot! Stan at Canadian Choice was easily one of the most professional salespeople I met. I manage purchasing in my work life, and like a lot of buyers these days, researched windows thoroughly - Stan recognized that and didn't belittle my contribution and questions. He steered me to the right buying decision, both up-selling AND down-selling (e.g. "Think about having the opening on the left rather than the right, given that it may interfere with the front door screen opening"). He gave me time to think his quote through and didn't hesitate to make a return visit. The end result was the right balance between my budget and enhancing the curb appeal and value of my house. The installation date was prompt and arranged to meet my convenience. The actual installation was similarly professional and meticulous, as I am one of those home reno junkies that will carefully watch every bit of the process! I suspect my neighbours now hate the fact that my house stands out on our street, but that's a problem I'm ok with! :)
