Terrible customer service. Long story short, the templater didn’t show up for 3 appointments, no one called to let us know what was going on, they guaranteed that even with all the missed appointments the installation date absolutely would not change, they called the day before installation and asked to change the date due to a crew calling in sick, they showed up as scheduled for the install but only brought countertops for 2 of the 3 rooms, rescheduled for a 2nd install date and again didn’t show up. Still waiting to find out when the last countertop will be installed. With all the missed appointments and problems, I received absolutely no calls from the office manager to let me know what was going on. I had to call her repeatedly, only to get nowhere, and she never followed through on anything she told us. Save yourself the nightmare and shop elsewhere. Update in response to the Company Response: The job was finally completed one month later than was agreed to in the contract, none of which was due to bad weather. As for the changes to our original request, had the job been done right the first time, I would have left it as it was. Since Granite Transformations had to come out and cut the corners off the island anyway, I asked that a bit of length be cut off the one end as well but I also said that if that’s too much of an inconvenience, not to bother, as it was our mistake. I’m sorry but I expected more of an effort from Granite Transformations to rectify the situation and to promote a good company reputation. Considering everything we went through and dealing with the former manager, we were given no further discounts and were "nickel and dimed" over the plumbing charges that we did ourselves. The finished product looks decent and I would think that the majority of customers have had a much better experience with Granite Transformations however, based on our experience, I still cannot recommend Granite Transformations.

It is always challenging when, despite efforts, things don't go as planned. Although not all of the challenges were out of our control and we should have communicated better we did have some issues that included that dreaded December weather that impacted many customers unfortunately. The Manager responsible for the less than satisfactory communication is no longer with the company. I am disappointed however to now learn that your satisfaction is not consistent with your communication at the time of project completion. For you to post this displeasure now and down play our offering in our effort to create satisfaction for you comes across as being somewhat unfair to me and quite honestly a bit of a low blow. To suggest being nickel and dimmed is offensive as there were no nickels or dimes involved in our dealings. Lastly, it has been my experience that when someone feels they have been wronged and expect to be compensated to make up for the wrong no amount of compensation can make up for it which is why we typically don't go there. Your post is evidence of this.

We do thank you for your business and as I was at your home I can say with confidence it turned out spectacular.
