Brent and Curtis had done electrical work at my previous home so I called them when I moved in here to have them wire up the basement of my new home. Avery Burke, proprietor or 613 Carpentry, is doing an amazing job of finishing the basement in my new home. He is quick and accurate and has very good suggestions for design and materials. He has single handedly installed the framing and drywall and will be installing the ceramic tile in the shower stall. He will also be installing the laminate flooring once the painting is finished. Avery also builds decks and fences and does interlock patios. I will definitely hire him to build my deck and fence next spring. He has done laminate flooring and kitchen renovations for me in the past and I have always been very happy with the results. Avery does excellent work, I highly recommend him for any renovation and/or home enhancement projects you have.
Almonte has hard water; everyone here should have a water softener. I moved into my brand new home on Sep. 27 and my Culligan water softener was installed on Oct. 16. In that short time there was already a build up of hard water stain around the taps in the kitchen and bathroom sinks. A little vinegar and elbow grease removed that and there has been no more accumulation of hard water stain since. And, there is no more scum floating in my tea!!! I also like the option Culligan offers to purchase over time rather than paying the full amount up front and still having the option of paying it off whenever you want.
