We hired Spartan to remove an old fence and install a new one. The work was done in a day and the fence looked very good. After returning from vacation, we noticed a top horizontal piece of wood had warped and one of the lattice pieces had come out of the slot which held it in place. We were surprised to see the lattice problem in particular as Spartan had said a strong glue was going to be used to secure the lattice. Obviously this was not done. Spartan eventually came by and replaced the top piece. We requested and stated we would pay for some additional horizontal bracing to make the fence stronger and better secure the lattice. Spartan started this work but had to stop because it was becoming difficult to work in the heat of that day. Spartan never returned to finish the job. Numerous attempts to contact Spartan were made (e-mail and voice mail), none of which received any kind of reply. A really poor service result after what started out being a very professional job.
