Country beads is easily one of my favorite stores in Vancouver for jewelry supplies. They have a great selection of beads, findings and chain. They also have a nice selection of sterling silver and precious stones. This little store can get busy so sometimes it's difficult to get help, but the staff are friendly and I always leave happy - usually with more in my bag than I intended on buying.
I love going into this store - they have tons of unique bits and pieces for jewelry making, and an interesting selection of vintage clothing - not stuff that you see many places, and their prices are decent . My only quam is that they get a little touchy if you come in too close to closing time (as they like to close RIGHT at 6pm). Staff are friendly, and it's not so big a store that you feel overwhelmed. Would definitely recommend having a look.
My husband and I needed a new front door and a friend had recommended them so we decided to try them out. It's a small company, but they very friendly and sincere. Good price for the product you get (better than other places we looked) and they helped us find an installer too. Our new door looks great and we are very pleased with it. Would definitely recommended these guys if you're looking to replace a door.
