Worst experience with a contractor ever. Did not complete the two gates, said it was to what it was supposed to be. Offered to pay 1/2 cost of finishing gates. Kept saying he would show up, never did. Screws left 3/4 out on fence. One board almost 10 feet long on bottom only had two screws in it. Some bottom boards were at a different angle than the top ones. Only one gate had handle, discovered the screws were drilled right through the wood when I sliced my finger on one. Left a mess in yard, pulled out paving blocks then did not put in post and left paving blocks out. Unfortunately, wife paid him and did not get a paid in full invoice, asked several times for one, never got it, ended up calling CRA and reporting him.

I had three quotes and Carlos from Nomad was the most informative while giving me my quote. He showed me all the areas that would need to be done, why you don't mix turbines and vents, and explained everything in a patient clear manner. We ended up deciding to do part of the roof this year and part next year when it was suggested by a friend to have our insurance company look at the roof for hail damage. They did and awarded enough cash for us to do the whole roof. In the meantime, Nomad had loaded out the smaller job but put everything on hold when I asked them to. When we got the approval a couple of weeks later, Nomad had saved our spot in line and were out within a week. There was an issue in that the full roof was supposed to have continuous ridge vents and Timbertex ridge shingles but they weren't loaded because the original order for the partial didn't have them. This was rectified the day after asked about. In addition, our shed was then re-roofed to the same standard as the main roof for free! Ryan from Nomad came up with a great solution to the mess the previous roofer had created when adding the sunroom. This was put into place at no extra cost. Erin was always patient and accommodating to deal with and during the final inspection I watched as she picked up any small debris that was on the roof as she walked around. The entire property was cleaned of any roofing debris as well. In addition, the golden pledge is really hard to beat and an extra selling feature when the house sold. The roof beside us used the same type of shingles but even my neighbor agrees that ours does look better. I have no hesitation in recommending Nomad, you will find cheaper, but not better.
