I don't even know where to begin. We read some great reviews about Gabriela online and she came into our new condo demonstrating potential. However the outcome was so unbelievably stressful I feel like we should have done it ourselves. The list of issues with Gabriela's work is too long to mention everything. To give you an idea how completely incompetent she is she instructed her contractor to move our dining room light into our ceiling coffer and not even centre over our table. So now we have a patch put in our coffered ceiling. The worst part about this is we told her not to have the light installed in the coffer and she did it anyways. Even the simplest of tasks were not done correctly. Our art work we have on the wall behind our sofa is not even hunt centred. The art she hung in our bathroom isn't hung high enough and rests over the base of our towel rack. We ordered chairs from her designer supplier and they were suppose to have a grey stained wood trim and she delivered them in mocha brown and refused to correct the issue. She will tell you she is going to get you her designer discounts but that's all a farce. She won't even produce receipts for what you buy because she is actually charging a profit on top of the supplier prices. When you ask her to deal with the many many issues she causes she will wash her hands of you and leave you at a financial loss. If I had to do this all over again I wouldn't let this woman decorate my cat's litter box. Horrible experience. Stay away from this woman.

Quit, go work at Tim Hortons.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Use homestars and find someone else. Don't use this fraud.
