After the last big wind/rain storm we had a leak coming in our house. After reading reviews on Homestsrs, we decided to go with Urban Roofing. We are really happy we did! Shaun came for a quote the same day I contacted him. It was obvious that he wasn’t trying to sell us anything we didn’t need, unlike a previous company we had called. He was straight to the point and actually told us how we could save money. He was very professional and answered emails/questions promptly. He initially gave us a timeline of being able to start the work in about 2-3 weeks, but was able to get started the following week. His crew finished in 2 days and cleaned up everything afterward. We are very happy with our new roof and the work that was done! His shingle selection was great and he didn’t gouge the price when we decided to go with a higher quality shingle. I would definitely recommend Urban Roofing if you need a new roof. Shaun was very knowledgeable and often checked in to make sure we were satisfied with the work that was being done. We have no complaints!

Malcolm did a great job refinishing our old hardwood floors. We live in a century home and weren't even sure if they could be saved. The project took 4 days and he was very meticulous about doing the job right. During the process, he blocked off all other areas of our house to minimize the dust. He sanded them as much as was needed to rid them of all their flaws. He applied an even stain in a beautiful colour and used a satin finish to really enhance the final product. The final price was very fair and same as quoted before the project began. He also saved us some money by only applying as much satin finish as was required for our floors. I would definitely recommend Wooden Floors by Malcolm if you want to refinish your hardwood floors. Our floors look like we installed brand new.

Our furnace stopped working in the dead of winter. We called Family Comfort at 7pm and Jeff was at our door by 7:20. I have never experienced such quick service! He was very professional. He walked my husband through the problem and the solution (in case it happened again). He was fast and efficient. He gave us a very fair price and left us his card in case any further issues arose. I definitely recommend Family Comfort!
